Included in this collection is a scrapbook, a broadside advertizing a rally for women's suffrage, a collection of photographs of Marshall and one of her notebooks. The scrapbook contains clippings of various speaking engagements of Marshall, photographs are mainly from Marshall's college years and the notebook lists books read by her. Marshall's obituary notice is also included.

Marshall was a prominent author and leader of the women's suffrage movement in the early 20th century. She was the author of several novels based on the lives of famous women of the Bible. She became involved in the women's suffrage movement while attending college and presented a number of lectures throughout the country. Marshall died in Coral Gables, Florida.
